PISAI students visit the Vatican Library

On 2 April, a group of students in the second year of their Licentiate study at PISAI visited the Vatican Library for a private workshop on Christian Arabic manuscripts. This visit was organized in conjunction with a special seminar taught by invited professor Dennis Halft, O.P., “Introduction to the Study of Arabic Manuscripts”. Adrien de Fouchier, O.P., a specialist in codicology who works at the Vatican Library, discussed his research with these eleven PISAI students who are learning the rudiments of working with Arabic manuscripts.
