After the opening remarks by Enzo Moavero Milanesi, Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Callista L. The IFIIE came into being in 2005 through the efforts of Adalberta Mazzini Bernardini and her husband Armando Bernardini, both alumni and good friends of PISAI, with the aim of promoting academic research and education in the field of interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
