Prof. Clohessy' participation in Birmingham Conference

On Thursday 16th March 2023 Prof. Christopher Clohessy attended an international conference on ‘Death and the Nature of the Soul’, hosted by the al-Mahdi Institute in Birmingham, England. The conference brought together a group of Jewish, Christian and Muslim scholars from a number of universities worldwide, each of whom presented a particular aspect of the issues surrounding death and soul as these are understood within the monotheistic traditions. Prof. Clohessy presented a Christian eschatology, based on the theologies of Bultmann, Wright and Ratzinger. The conference proceedings will be published in July 2023.
