On 15-16 June 2023, professor Diego Sarrió Cucarella, president of PISAI, participated in the Policy Dialogue on Religions and International Relations co-organized by the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and the Keough School of Global Affairs, University of Notre Dame in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Community of Saint’Egidio.
Entitled “Religion, Conflict and Peacebuilding in Contemporary Global Crises”, the event included a public roundtable on Thursday 15 June at the Italian Parliament, with a keynote address delivered by Archbishop Paul R. Gallagher, the Holy See’s Secretary for Relations with States and International Organisations. On Friday 16 June, a closed-door dialogue was held at the Rome Global Gateway of the University of Notre Dame.
