A workshop entitled “From the Grassroots to Institutions: Experiences and Tips in the Field of Christian-Muslim Dialogue” was held at the Library of PISAI on 6 May 2022, in collaboration with the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue.
The workshop was facilitated by two former students of the Center: Emily Judd and Peter Dziedzic. Emily is currently the senior communication specialist at the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, an international interfaith organization supported by the Holy See, Al-Azhar University, and the leadership of the United Arab Emirates. Peter, who is also a former student of PISAI, is currently a doctoral candidate in Harvard University’s Committee on the Study of Religion, where he specializes in Islamic Studies, Comparative Studies, and Religion and Literature.
The workshop offered the academic community of PISAI an opportunity to reflect on the practical aspects of Christian-Muslim dialogue on the basis of lived experiences. The PISAI thanks Ms. Elena Dini, Senior Program Manager of the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue, for the initiative to organize this joint event.
