On Thursday, 28 April 2022, Mak Caesar Abagna, a priest of the Diocese of Navrongo-Bolgatanga (Ghana), successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled “Catholic Church-African Independent Churches Dialogue: The Foundational Elements”, at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum).
The examining commission consisted of Prof. Juan F. Usma Gómez (thesis moderator), Prof. Anthony Gebran (censor) and Prof. Catherine Joseph Droste, O.P. (commission chair).
Mak Caesar Abagna followed PISAI’s Introductory Year, obtaining the Diploma of Introduction to Arabic and Islamic Studies in June 2017. The academic community of the Institute warmly congratulates him and wishes him the best of luck in his future projects.
