A conference organized by Trinitarian International Solidarity (SIT) was held in the New Synod Hall, in the Vatican, on April 25 and 26, 2022. Founded by the Order of the Holy Trinity in 1999 as an expression of the charism of the Trinitarian family, SIT works to make known the situation of Christians who suffer persecution or marginalization because of their faith. To this end, SIT organizes awareness campaigns through the mass media or by means of conferences, solidarity lunches, conventions or study days. The conference concluded at the Basilica of San Crisogono in Rome with a prayer vigil for persecuted Christians.
Among the participants in the conference, we highlight the presence of two former students of PISAI, Fr. Antonio Aurelio Fernández Serrano, O.SS.T., President of Trinitarian International Solidarity, and Fr. Manuel Cánovas García, O.SS.T. A current student from the introductory year, Chidoze Theophilus Ntadinobi, O.SS.T., also attended.
