A webinar entitled “From Academia to Practice: Interreligious Dialogue Experiences in Asia” was held on 30 March 2022, organized by the Pontifical Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies (PISAI) and the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue.
The speakers were two former students of PISAI: Fr. James Channan, OP (Pakistan), Fr. Heru Prakosa, SJ (Indonesia), and two former students of the Center John Paul II: Fr. Richard Babao (Archdiocese of Manila, Philippines) and Fr. Manoj Rasanjana, OP (Sri Lanka). Prof. Bryan Lobo, SJ, Dean of the Faculty of Missiology at the Pontifical Gregorian University, offered the concluding remarks.
The webinar, which included a time of exchange, offered the speakers an opportunity to share their experiences of interreligious dialogue. The PISAI thanks Ms. Elena Dini, Senior Program Manager of the John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue, for the initiative to organize this joint event involving alumni of both Institutions.
