Global Compact on Education: Cultures and Religions

An online webinar sponsored by the Congregation for Catholic Education in collaboration with the School of Higher Education EIS (Educare all’incontro e alla solidarietà) of LUMSA University on the topic “Cultures and Religions” was held on the morning of Monday, 11 October 2021.

The event was the fifth meeting in the cycle dedicated to the Global Compact on Education, an initiative desired by Pope Francis in which PISAI was also called to participate (PISAI News 5/3/2020).

The theme was presented and discussed by Mgr. Vincenzo Zani, Secretary of the Congregation for Catholic Education, Prof. Roberto Catalano (Sophia University Institute in Loppiano) and Prof. Allan Basas (Saint Thomas University in Manila). A group of young speakers from different cultural and religious backgrounds took part in the event, including Lisa De Bernardi, a former student at PISAI.
