Witnessing to the God of Love and Mercy

The PISAI is glad to signal the publication of Witnessing to the God of Love and Mercy: essays, testimonies, and study group modules for Muslim-Christian dialogue, published in 2020 by the Maryhill School of Theology (Quezon City, Philippines).

The first part of the book includes a series of essays by André De Bleeker, CICM, on different aspects of Islam and Muslim-Christian relations. Father De Bleeker has taught at Maryhill for many years and this publication celebrates his 75th birthday. The second part comprises several testimonies of Christian engagement with Muslims, mostly by members of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM). The third and final part of this book is composed of seven modules to be used in study and reflection groups. Each module speaks of various virtues and attitudes needed in the conduct of interreligious dialogue.

Among the different contributors to this book, we note the presence of two former students of PISAI: John Mallare, CICM (in the picture) and Thomas Hendrikus, CICM.
