Interdicasterial webinar on religious radicalism

The Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (PCID) organized an internal inter-dicasterial webinar, on 26-27 January 2021, on the theme: “Religious Radicalism: Interpretations and Responses of Christians and Muslims”.
The Conference, attended by Christian and Muslim experts and leaders, focused on “the phenomenon of religious radicalism and violence, with a particular attention to its causes and methods of dissemination, as well as the efforts and initiatives being adopted to counter and prevent this process”, as explained in the press release by the PCID.

The Secretariat of State, the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, the Congregation for Catholic Education, the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (PISAI) contributed to the preparation of this event.
