سوريا الحبيبة A look at Syria

Within the framework of the course of History of Modern and Contemporary Islam, the University of Palermo organised a study day entitled سوريا الحبيبة  A look at Syria, on Tuesday 30 March 2021. Wasim Salman, lecturer at PISAI, participated, delivering a lecture with the theme 10 years of the Syrian conflict: from nationalism to re-Islamisation.
The programme highlighted Syria’s history, its theological and philosophical schools and the need to overcome the current conflict in order to regain geopolitical balance in the region.
