Aljaž Kranjc, a licentiate student at PISAI, recently had an article published in Unity and Dialogue (Edinost in dialog), an academic journal dedicated to ecumenical theology and interreligious dialogue published by the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Kranjc’s piece, entitled “Mesto al-Malika al-Kāmila v zgodovini islama” (“The Role of Al-Malik al-Kāmil in Islamic History”), is a revised version of his presentation at a scientific conference in October 2019 celebrating the 800^th anniversary of the meeting between St. Francis of Assisi and the Sultan al-Kāmil.

Kranjc will defend his PISAI licentiate thesis, on Muʿtazilī doctrines preserved by al-Ašʿarī, in June 2020.
