Educare a un’umanità più fraterna: il contributo delle religioni

We are pleased to inform you that the contributions to the study day “Educating to a more fraternal humanity: the contribution of religions”, held on 24 February 2020 at the prestigious Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, have been published in the series Interreligious and Intercultural Investigations.

The event, organized in collaboration between the Pontifical Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies (PISAI) and the Gregorian University’s “Cardinal Bea” Centre for Jewish Studies and Centre for Interreligious Studies, was part of the series of preparatory events in view of the Global Compact on Education, an initiative of Pope Francis.

The Compact - which was to be signed in the Vatican on 14 May 2020 by representatives of international bodies and humanitarian institutions, representatives of the academic, economic, political and cultural world - was postponed to 15 October 2020 due to the current emergency situation.
