Bartolomeo Pirone at the conference François et le Sultan: fécondité d’une rencontre ?

On the occasion of the national celebration of the 800th anniversary of the meeting between St Francis of Assisi and Sultan Malek al Kamil, the Franciscan School of Paris, in collaboration with the National Service for Relations with Muslims, organized a two-day conference on the theme of François et le Sultan (1219): fécondité d’une rencontre?
The event was held at the Centre Sèvres, Facultés Jésuites de Paris, on October 25 and 26, and brought together scholars and specialists of the Muslim-Christian dialogue, as well as a wide audience of non-specialists of dialogue.
Among the speakers was Bartolomeo Pirone, professor at the PISAI, with a lecture entitled À propos d’un rahib chez le Sultan Al-Malek Al Kâmil.
