Dr. Jutta B. Sperber has generously offered her most recent publication, Anthropological Aspects in the Christian-Muslim Dialogues of the Vatican (De Gruyter 2019) to the library of PISAI. This book, volume 14 of the series Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – Tension, Transmission, Transformation, is a detailed research into the Christian-Muslim dialogues between the Magisterium of the Roman-Catholic Church, the Pontificial Council for Interreligious Dialogue and various Muslim institutions. The book concentrates on the aspects of theological anthropology like tolerance and human dignity, the position of women and children, media and education, but also mission, resources and nationalism. Jutta B. Sperber is working as a pastor of the Protestant Lutheran Church of Bavaria in the deaconry of Neu-Ulm. In 1996 she was awarded a doctorate in religious, ecumenical and missiological studies at Augustana Theological College, and in 2016 the habilitation from the University of Rostock.
