Doctoral dissertation of Patrick Chinedu Mbarah

Patrick Chinedu MBARAH, alumnus of PISAI, defended his doctoral dissertation at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, the Angelicum, on the 20 of February 2018. The Moderator was professor Michael Fuss.
The dissertation, entitled “Education for Interreligious Dialogue: Towards an Interreligious Directory for the Archdiocese of Owerri, Nigeria” narrows aspects of interreligious dialogue down to a local Church, the Archdiocese of Owerri (South Nigeria), and focuses on the project of educating Christians for a mutual relationship with people of other faith traditions. The study proposes an Interreligious Dialogue Directory (IDD) for the formation and education of Christians which will be of help to put the ideas and theories into practice.
