At the end of May 2018, an agreement of collaboration was signed between PISAI and the Institut de formation islamo-chrétienne (IFIC) of Bamako (Mali). IFIC’s history is closely linked to PISAI. The IFIC was founded in 2014 by the Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers) as a pastoral center for the training of Christians to dialogue with Muslims in French-speaking West Africa. For several years, between 1999 and 2002, the program was offered at PISAI, in Rome. Moreover, IFIC’s teaching staff is made up of PISAI alumni. According to the signed agreement, the PISAI will deliver a diploma of pastoral studies with specialization in Islamic studies and Muslim-Christian relations to students who complete successfully the program of studies at IFIC. Furthermore, in these first days of July, the PISAI has signed another agreement of collaboration with the prestigious Ecole pratique des hautes études (EPHE) of Paris. The PISAI thus continues to enlarge its network of collaborations with other academic institutions around the world
