On Saturday 1 December, a group of Shi'i Muslims from the Hyderi Islamic Centre in London paid a short visit to Rome and to the PISAI. They met with Prof. Christopher Clohessy, Prof. Jason Welle and Prof. Martin Wullobayi. The group, led by Sayed Ammar Nakshawani, many of whom were visiting Rome for the first time, also had the opportunity of seeing some of the city’s important landmarks and monuments and being present at the Vatican on Sunday 2 December for the papal audience. The Hyderi Islamic Centre places a great deal of emphasis on interfaith relations and events.
