Born in Modena on 21 November 1969, Alessandro Ferrari graduated in Law from the University of Modena (1993). His academic formation continued with a doctorate in Ecclesiastical Discipline from the University of Milan (1999) and a doctorate in Canon Law from the University of Paris (Paris XI) (2003). Since 2005, Prof. Ferrari has been Associate Professor of Ecclesiastical Law and Canon Law in the Faculty of Law of the University of Insubria. Since 2011 he has participated in the Standing Conference ‘Religion, Culture and Integration’, Ministry of Integration and International Cooperation, and a member of the Working Group for Interreligious Dialogue (since 2011) of the Municipality of Milan and the Committee for Italian Islam, Ministry of the Interior (2010-2011).
