On Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 16:30 in the Library of PISAI Fr Michel Saghbiny, oam, discusses, in Arabic, his doctoral thesis entitled The views of the Lebanese Muslims on relations with Christians. Father Michel Saghbiny, Lebanese, member of the Antoniane Maronite community in Rome, studied theology at the Catholic University of Lyon. He obtained a Licentiate in Arabic and Islamic Studies at PISAI in 2002. He has now been teaching Arabic and Islamic Studies at PISAI since 2004. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Islamochristiana. The committee chaired by Fr Samir Khalil Samir, sj, of the Pontifical Oriental Institute, is made up of Dr Adnane Mokrani, professor at PISAI, and Dr Emma Gannagé, at Georgetown University.
