On Friday, 14th November, the PISAI was honoured to welcome Dr. Aref Ali Nayed on the occasion of his visit to Rome for the third Catholic-Muslim Forum. A former professor at PISAI, Dr. Nayed is one of the leading Muslim figures in the field of interreligious dialogue, and has been involved in various inter-faith initiatives since 1987, including the recent A Common Word process, of which he was one of the original signatories. He has been included in the list of 500 most influential Muslims published by The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre, Amman (http://www.rissc.jo/). During his visit to PISAI, Dr. Aref held an open conversation with the students and professors of the Institute.
