New publication by Jutta B. Sperber

Dr. Jutta B. Sperber has generously offered her most recent publication, Anthropological Aspects in the Christian-Muslim Dialogues of the Vatican (De Gruyter 2019) to the library of PISAI. This book, volume 14 of the series Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – Tension, Transmission, Transformation, is a detailed research into the Christian-Muslim dialogues between the Magisterium of the Roman-Catholic Church, the Pontificial Council for Interreligious Dialogue and various Muslim institutions. Sperber is working as a pastor of the Protestant Lutheran Church of Bavaria in the deaconry of Neu-Ulm. In 1996 she was awarded a doctorate in religious, ecumenical and missiological studies at Augustana Theological College, and in 2016 the habilitation from the University of Rostock.
