In the dialogue
The Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies aims at offering its students an objective knowledge of the Arab-Muslim culture and religion, through a direct observation and study of the Arabic language and Muslim sources. Since more than 50 years the PISAI is engaged in teaching and preparing for interreligious dialogue, making a serious contribution to the Church’s commitment to improving the relationships between Christians and Muslims, both cultural and interreligious. Till this day, a qualified and objective dialogue remains the primary goal of the PISAI.
