This course is an essential part of the study programme of the PISAI. The programme examines some outstanding personalities and important documents of the Muslim-Christian dialogue in its historical development. As circumstances permit, certain guests of the Institute will be invited to talk about their experiences, particularly those related to the Christian presence in countries, which although having different religious communities, remain predominantly Muslim.

Every two years the students have the opportunity to visit the Mosque of Rome,where they will be received by the Director of the Islamic Cultural Centre and by the Imam of the Mosque.
